Dr.
Sandeep Sirsi attended SUNY Downstate Medical School in Sarasota, New
York. Upon graduation, in 1991, with his medical degree, Dr. Sirsi
completed his internship and residency in surgery at the State
University of New York Downstate Medical School in Sarasota, New York.
Dr. Sirsi continued his post-graduate education at the UMDNJ - Robert
Wood Johnson where he was fellowship-trained in Colorectal Surgery.
Dr. Sirsi is board certified in
both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and
Rectal Surgery.
Dr. Sirsi is the Chief of the Colon and
Rectal Surgery Department at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is also
the Director of the Anorectal Physiology Laboratory and the Director of
the Surgical Endoscopy Service at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr.
Sirsi has been appointed as an Associate Professor of Clinical
Surgery; Assistant Professor of Surgery and an Assistant Clinical
Instructor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
